Like all the tourist train associations, the Tourist Train of the Country of Puisaye-Forterre could
not function without the presence of a dynamic team of volunteers and the
support of association members. This page is meant to pay a homage to all our volunteers,
past, present and also ... future!
Our train, which had not run for 7 years, could not have been
again part of the railway community if it had not been supported by an important
number of members. They come from various social origins and areas, united by
their passion for this tourist train, which they did not want to see disappear.

Now, since that the "machine" finally started again and that our
association has many projects in progress (extension of the line, rehabilitation of
the level crossings...), it is necessary for us to increase again and again our number of
members, which is a significant factor of credibility with respect to our local decision makers
and official authorities. Lastly, it is always with a great pleasure that we
welcome people nourishing the same passion as us to join our association,
and the arrival of new members always encourages us more to continue our action.
Operating and maintaining a train call upon many goodwills, without
counting all the projects of extension of the line. If you like the
spirit of friendship, if you like nature and countryside, you will certainly like to
join the team of "railway". Moreover, if you know how to hold a refreshment bar,
to ensure the safety on board a rail-car (which can be learned!), to hold souvenir shop, and if
you have enough railway knowledge to guide the visitor in the exhibitions and
presentations, no problem, the Tourist Train of the Country of Puisaye-Forterre
needs you!

It will perhaps be an opportunity for you to discover the way of operating a tourist train
and, why not, preceed at the end of the end, to run the train under the guidance of the old
train operators.
Do you wish to support our action? Does one of these two activities interest you? Only
one condition suffices:
To adhere to our association, by the payment of a
contribution of 23 Euro per year, 32 Euro and more for the VIP and 10 Euro for the juniors.
